When I was in 5th grade, watching Showboat on Broadway, I wasn't focused on the actors or storyline.
Instead, I was captivated by the technical magic - the precise choreography of lights and sets creating unforgettable moments.
That little girl dreamed of being a set designer.
Life had other plans.
My analytical side led me to engineering, and that theater dream got filed away in the "maybe someday" folder we all have.
But here's the thing about dreams - they have a way of persisting.
Even as I built my career in tech and founded Mother AI, I never lost my fascination with theater's technical artistry.
Every show I attended reminded me of that childhood aspiration.
Today, I'm thrilled to announce that I'm stepping into the role of Executive Producer for "When My Soul Speaks," a one-night Broadway show starring my mentor Lisa Nichols.
